Today is mine and Richy's 4 year anniversary, so I wanted some semi-neutral neat looking makeup for our dinner and movie tonight. We're having Il Capo Pizza and Pasta for tea, we went there one other time and it was seriously AMAZING. Better than Pompeii Pizza I thought :)
Also, I had to keep in mind that I have work for 3 hours beforehand so it couldn't be like... WOAH :P
As a base on my face, I used a mineral foundation called Bare Minerals (using the shade light, which is a bit off for my skintone, my proper shade is fairly light) mixed with Elf's mineral bronzer in 'glow' to lighten and brighten the color a little bit. It gives amazing coverage and my skin looks flawless which is always a good thing ;)
MAC Posey Blushcreme on first as a base, I love this color and haven't worn it in a while :)
ELF Mineral Blush in Joy. I love it, I would totally recommend these mineral blushes, at $5 they are great quality. They also have an amazing finish and color payoff.
To top off my cheeks and add some dimension, I used ELFs color stick in Lilac Petal to highlight. I loooove this color and its only $1. Looks similar to Benefits High Beam.
Thought I would add in a lip swatch too, Here is MAC Snob. My Aunty chose this one for me cause she loved the name LOL. Its an awesome mid toned pink, similar to MAC Angel but a fraction more lilac or purple.
On my inner corners I'm using Glamour Doll Eyes' Cloud Coverage. Its such a beautiful frosty and pure white. I can see myself using this much more often. It packs a punch and adds a nice bright effect to the eyes without looking TOO out there. I also used MAC Shroom on the lid, and MACs Espresso and Greystone in the crease/outer corners.
I topped off with Rimmel's Volume Flash Mascara, which I'm on the fence about right now. Check out K-Mart because I got a kit of 3 different full sized Rimmel Volume Mascaras for only $25 NZ (valued at over $50) which was an awesome deal :)
Love you all x
